Store a Job Code for a Printer

Save time by saving the Job Code in your printer preferences.

  1. Click Start – or press the Windows Key + R on your keyboard and skip to Step 3.
  2. Type “run” and press enter
  3. Type “control printers” and press enter
  4. Control Printers

  5. Right click the printer you would like to store the code for
  6. Print Devices

  7. Click Printing Preferences
  8. Click Detailed Settings
  9. Click Job Setup
  10. Enter the job code in the User Code field
  11. Printer Preferences

  12. Click OK
