Adjust Microphone Levels

When a microphone is either too loud or too quiet, try adjusting the sound levels.

1. Right-click the sound icon in the Windows system tray



2. Click Sounds
3. Click on the Recording tab
4. Right-click your microphone
5. Click Properties



6. Click the Levels tab
7. Adjust the slider to the desired output volume



8. Click OK, then OK again, to close out the Sound menu
